In a post-modern world, students are surrounded with so many influences—peers, Facebook, cell phones, movies, music, television, and the list goes on. Today’s students need guidance to prevent them from wandering from the path that God has laid out before them. Here at Fellowship Church, we hope to be that guidance for them. We desire to shape our students to be men and women that desire an ever deepening personal relationship with the Lord. It is our aim to train your students in the faith essentials, so that they may continually grow in their walk with God. We want to build up strong men of Christ that are servant leaders capable of resisting a world that constantly pulls at them to be self-serving individuals. We aspire to shape women that are not defined by the world around them, but are dependent upon their ultimate Creator and find their beauty within.
We seek to accomplish this through various retreats, mission trips, and weekly bible studies. On Sunday nights, we have a K-Group (see K-Group page for more details) designed specifically for the youth, grades 6-12. Unlike the regular K-Groups, we meet year round. On Wednesday nights, we have separate guy-girl studies that are designed to help your student develop into men and women of God. Also, every month or so, we get outside our comfort zone and serve the community around us via nursing home visits, homeless shelters, shopping for those in need, and many other types of service.
